Why videoconferencing method?

Today, the increase in the capabilities of digital education platforms has started to provide face-to-face training in the same quality and efficiency as virtual OHS training. Especially the recent pandemic and the comfort needs of the participants create grounds for the preference of virtual OHS training courses.

As Ege Consulting, we continue to carry out all our training courses in the classroom environment with the videoconference method in the virtual environment continue sharing experience in the new period and enable all professionals who have to spend time at home to spend their time more efficiently.

Which courses are on virtual platform?

We started to offer all our face to face courses on the virtual OHS training platform. Which are;

About virtual platform

The course is delivered through the videoconferencing platform Zoom. A link is sent to the learner for access to the virtual platform by e-mail before the course. By clicking the link, the program is installed on the computer (or tablet) and then the learner is able to participate.

Learner study material and evaluation elements, if any, are sent to the learner by cargo or digital way after final registration and it is ensured that they have arrived before the course.

Course can be followed on desktop or laptop computers and tablets. The use of mobile phones is not recommended due to the need to follow the presentation during the training period and the use of the keyboard during the training.

Absolute uninterrupted and high speed internet access, internal or external camera and microphone are required for participation in virtual OHS courses.

The training is designed in the format closest to the classroom training requirements. Learners can watch the trainer live, ask questions, express opinions, do group work with other participants, follow training presentations and other materials, shared screens.

In the courses, the same syllabus and lesson plan, the same educational materials and the same assessment procedure is followed as in face to face courses. Therefore, there is no loss of information in videoconference course compared to classroom course. In addition, all participants who successfully complete the videoconference course receive the same certificate given in their classroom training.

Since the training will take place in a virtual environment, it is recommended that all participants choose an environment where they will follow the course without any distraction, not be in a different effort during the tuition hours and do not have any obstacles to learning in their environment.

The first day of the training starts 1 hour earlier than the other days so that all learners can access the training virtual environment without any problems and are shared general information about connection, audio, video and virtual platform usage. After ensuring the smooth participation of each learner, course is started.

Before the course starts, identity verification is performed to prevent participation of different people than the registered learners.

Different sub-details and rules related to each course are also communicated to the participants at the registration stage.

Limitation of max no of learners in a virtual class

In virtual OHS courses, the number of learners is limited to 12 in order to make the interaction more efficient and the tutor can follow the learners easily.

Participation mode

All specified courses can be opened as closed groups. However, our more demanding courses are open to general participation. You can follow our courses open to general participation on our training calendar.
